Privacy notice

1.The short version
We collect what the app needs to work. Personal information stays private. Equipment data is pooled anonymously. We never sell raw data or personal information.
2.What we collect
About you: your name, email, role, language and, if you give it, your phone number.
About your company: its name and size, what it runs, and who to contact.
What your company records: equipment, meter readings, repairs, parts, costs, photos, voice notes and notes.
Technical details: the kind of phone or browser, the app version and errors. If you report a problem from inside the app, the report can include a picture of the screen and your last few taps.
3.What we use it for
To run the app for your company. To send the emails you ask for, like sign-in codes, password links and notifications. To fix problems and make the app better. To build anonymous, combined benchmarks.
4.Pooled data
Equipment records are pooled with other companies’ records, anonymously and in aggregate. Nothing shared names your company, and personal information is never part of it.
5.Who else handles it
Only the services the app runs on: the database and sign-in service (Supabase), the hosting service (Render), and the email service that delivers our emails.
If your company adds its own AI key, what you ask the AI helper is sent to the AI company your company chose.
People who test the app may have their sessions recorded with Microsoft Clarity, to find bugs.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
6.Where it is kept, and for how long
In the United States. For as long as your company uses the app, and up to 90 days after it leaves, except anonymous combined data and what the law makes us keep.
7.Your choices
You can ask to see, fix or delete your personal information. Ask your company’s owner, or ask us.
Your name stays on work you logged for your company, because a service history is only worth something with a name against it. If you ask us to delete your information, we remove your email and contact details; your company keeps its own records.
8.Keeping it safe
Everything travels encrypted. Each company can only see its own records. Passwords are handled by the sign-in service, and we never see them.
9.Children
The app is not for anyone under 16.
10.Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we tell your company’s owner before it takes effect.
